What we collect

When you use our contact form

Our Home page has a contact form. When you send it, we collect your name, email address, and message. The form sends this to Mark by email so he can reply to you.

When you sign up for the free 52-Week Venue Post Calendar

Our signup form collects your email address, and your first name if you choose to share it. This form is run by MailerLite, our email service provider. After you sign up, you get the calendar and a short series of 4 welcome emails from mark@allure22.com.

When you answer one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms

Some of our ads on Facebook and Instagram include a short form. If you fill one in, Meta shares the details you enter with us, such as your name and email address. We use them to send what you asked for. We add you to our email list only if you tick the box that says you would like our emails.

When you visit the site

Like most websites, our site and host collect some basic technical details automatically. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, pages you visit, and the time of your visit. These details show up in our hosting server logs and help keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

Website cookies

Our site runs on WordPress with the Divi theme. These tools may set small cookies that help the site work properly.

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our site. It records page views, and it records a signup when you request the free calendar. This helps us measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may use its own cookies and collect information about your visit under its own privacy policy.

Please note that third parties, such as Meta, may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites, including when you visit our site.

You can manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Reject and the Meta Pixel stays off. You can also click Reject on our tracking notice, or block cookies in your browser settings.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your messages and questions
  • To send you the free calendar and our welcome emails
  • To share occasional updates about our services, if you signed up
  • To understand how people find and use our site
  • To measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads
  • To keep the site working and secure

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Allure22:

  • MailerLite (mailerlite.com), which sends our emails and stores our email list
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for the Meta Pixel and our ads
  • Our website host (HostGator), which stores the site and its server logs
  • WordPress and our site plugins, which run the site and its contact form
  • Our email provider, which delivers contact form messages to Mark

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Social links

Our site links to our Facebook and Instagram pages. When you visit those sites, their own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages as long as we need them to help you and keep a record of our conversation. We keep your email list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our host. If you would like your information removed sooner, just email us.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribes within 10 business days, usually much sooner.
  • Ask about your information. You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you, including details from a lead form. Email mark@allure22.com with the subject “Privacy request” and we will help.
  • Cookies. You can accept or reject tracking on our site, and you can manage cookies in your browser.

Visitors in other states and countries

Depending on where you live, you may have extra privacy rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to get a copy, to correct it, or to delete it. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email mark@allure22.com. We will do our best to respond promptly and within the time the law requires.

Children

Our site is made for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, please email us and we will delete it.

Keeping your information safe

We use trusted service providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your details safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is important, we will also add a short note at the top of this page.
